Overview

The KR SightLink E3040 Square Tube Coupler, 2020 Extension Set creates a short rigid side rail from a 30x30 or 40x40 machine-frame extrusion. One coupler body is designed to serve both profile sizes, then a KUPO-provided holder carries a 20x20 extrusion arm for downstream camera, light, sensor, cable, or small-plate modules.

This is structural extension hardware, not a direct camera mount. The set moves a new 20x20 mounting rail away from the main frame so the application can place its actual payload mount where it has better clearance.

The current product direction keeps the coupler body common and changes the bolt-on output by set. EX20 is the first output set; the related SQC01-VESA uses the same coupler-family logic for a monitor arm.

Why a 2020 Side Extension

A short 20x20 side rail gives integrators a rigid, lightweight place to add modules without drilling the main 3030 / 4040 frame or committing to a long articulated arm.

Decoupling the extension from the clamp also keeps the system serviceable: the coupler grips the main profile, the holder connects to the coupler, and the 20x20 arm can be cut or finalized to suit the released set. One coupler family can therefore support more than one output without creating separate 3030 and 4040 product lines.

The EX20 set builds outward in four defined layers, ending at an auxiliary 20x20 rail rather than at the payload itself:

30x30 or 40x40 square extrusion (main frame) -> KR-E3040-SQC01 square tube coupler -> KUPO-provided 2020 extrusion holder -> 20x20 extrusion arm -> compatible camera / light / sensor / cable / plate mounting module

The holder bolts to the coupler's output pattern, and the 20x20 extrusion secures to the holder with T-nuts. The downstream device still needs its own compatible mounting base or adapter.

Which Route

EX20, Direct Base, or VESA

Choose EX20 when the job needs a new auxiliary rail; choose a direct SightLink T-nut base when a single device can mount on the existing extrusion face; choose SQC01-VESA when the required output is specifically a rigid industrial monitor mount.

EX20 is useful before the final payload geometry is settled because the 20x20 rail can carry different downstream modules along its slot. It should not be described as a released camera-mount kit until the actual endpoint, extension length, load, and clamp validation are defined.

The planned saleable set combines the SQC01 coupler body, a KUPO-provided 2020 holder, and a 20x20 extrusion arm; exact holder, arm length, fasteners, and finish remain to be frozen.

Downstream camera, light, sensor, monitor, rosette, ball-head, or adapter hardware is not part of the EX20 definition unless explicitly bundled later. The main 3030 / 4040 frame and cable-management hardware are also separate.

Is EX20 a camera mount?

Not by itself. It creates an auxiliary 20x20 extrusion rail. A camera, light, sensor, cable accessory, or plate still needs a compatible downstream mounting base or adapter.

What length is the 20x20 arm?

Why use a holder instead of welding the arm to the coupler?

EX20 outputs an auxiliary 20x20 extrusion rail for downstream modules. SQC01-VESA outputs a dedicated monitor arm and VESA plate. They share the coupler-family concept but serve different endpoints.

Is the working load published?

Not yet. The clamp, holder, arm length, cantilever offset, payload mount, vibration, and cable pull all affect capacity, so the complete released stack must be tested.
