The KR SensorHolder Rosette Sensor Mount 18 holds any M18-barrel industrial sensor - proximity, photoelectric, or M18 barcode readers - on an indexed rosette connection, so the sensor's aim is a locked tooth position, not a friction setting that drifts. The sensor's threaded barrel passes through the mount's 18.5 mm bore and clamps with its own barrel nuts; no special clips, no adapter.
M18 is one of the standard industrial cylindrical-sensor sizes, which makes this one stainless bracket cover an enormous range of parts: inductive proximity switches, diffuse and through-beam photoelectric sensors, and M18-format code readers all mount the same way. The bracket's rosette foot bolts onto any rosette output in the SightLink system - the extrusion base node, either face of the 90° connector, or either end of a rosette extension arm.
Because the teeth index, a swapped or serviced sensor comes back at the same aim - a trigger sensor keeps firing at the same point on the part, without a re-teach.

How It Mounts
This mount is the last link before the sensor - its rosette foot lands on any rosette output in the SightLink chain, and the sensor's own barrel nuts do the clamping:
The 18.5 mm bore clears the M18 barrel; thread the sensor through, set its stand-off distance, and tighten the barrel nuts against the bracket - exactly how M18 sensors are designed to mount. The bracket also carries 6.5 mm through-holes for direct hardware mounting where a rosette isn't needed.

Before You Order
Before ordering, confirm three things: your sensor has an M18 threaded barrel with its barrel nuts, a rosette output on your frame for the foot to land on, and a sensing position the sensor can reach from the frame.
- Check the sensor's barrel class on its spec label - this mount is for M18 barrels; other sizes need a different mount.
- Make sure the sensor's barrel nuts are on hand - they do the clamping, as the sensor manufacturer intends.
- The foot needs a rosette to bolt to - a SightLink base node on the extrusion, a 90° connector, or an extension-arm end.
- Plan static, indoor mounting on the frame - and strain-relieve the sensor cable near the sensor so it can't tug the aim.

Which sensors fit?

Does it fit my existing SightLink rosette parts?

Why does a sensor need an indexed mount?
Because aim is detection. A photoelectric beam or code reader that creeps two degrees stops seeing its target - usually intermittently, which is worse. Rosette teeth lock the aim to a set position and return to it after every loosen-and-retighten, so a serviced or swapped sensor fires at the same point without a re-teach.
Do I need special clips or adapters?
No. The sensor's threaded barrel passes through the bore and its own barrel nuts tighten against the bracket - the mounting method M18 sensors are designed for. Stand-off distance adjusts by running the nuts along the barrel.
Can the sensor share a chain with my camera?
Yes - that's the point of the shared rosette foot. The trigger sensor and the camera it fires can run off the two ends of one extrusion-mounted arm, or off neighboring rosette outputs, as aligned parts of one indexed setup.
My sensor isn't M18 - what now?
